Your power, done right.
Residential and commercial electrical — service upgrades, EV chargers, solar, and data — done clean, done to code, and priced fair. We match or beat legitimate quotes.
Handover Electric was founded in 2021 on three principles: quality, pricing, and service. We wire homes, retail stores, and commercial spaces across Connecticut — from 200-amp service upgrades and panel swaps to EV charger installs and full tenant buildouts. Every job is permitted, inspected, and backed by a licensed E1 contractor. Take a look at what we do, then tell us about your project.

Service Upgrades & Panel Swaps — 100A to 200A and 400A service upgrades, panel replacements, meter and mast work, underground services. The upgrade your home or building needs before anything else can be added.
EV Charger Installation — Home and commercial EV charging, installed and permitted. We handle the panel capacity check, the install, and the paperwork for Connecticut's commercial EV charging incentives — many businesses qualify for help covering equipment and make-ready costs.
Solar Installation — Solar system wiring, inverters, disconnects, and utility interconnection for homes and businesses. We handle the electrical side of solar — including the service upgrade most systems need first — permitted and ready for inspection.
Commercial & Retail Buildouts — Tenant improvements, retail fit-outs, lighting, and power distribution for stores, restaurants, and offices. We work to your schedule so you open on time.
Data & Low-Voltage — Structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A), data drops, racks and patch panels, and low-voltage wiring for offices, retail, and homes. Clean runs, labeled and tested.
Lighting & Fixtures — Fixture swaps, recessed lighting, and layout changes for homes and businesses.
AC & Mini-Split Wiring — Dedicated circuits and disconnects for condensers and mini-split systems — wired right, so your HVAC warranty stays intact.
Troubleshooting & Repair — Dead circuits, tripping breakers, flickering lights, failed devices. We find the fault and fix it, not just the symptom.
New Work & Outbuildings — Rough and finish wiring for additions, renovations, sheds, and detached garages.
